What's Playing? 10/15 Weekend

***

This weekend in theatres, not much is opening.

The films that are, no movie really holds my interest, unlike last weekend where I wanted to see every film that was released.

The based on true events Conviction about a sister who defends her convicted of murder brother in court looks good while the comic book based/action/comedy Red looks worth checking out just for the great cast.

The much anticipated Jackass 3D for fans of the show and prior movies, looks plain dumb, which is the point it seems.

Here is the rundown of movies opening starting this Friday in theatres:

Conviction
 What's It About?
The true story of a woman who becomes a lawyer to defend her brother who is in jail accused of murder.

Why See It?
 For the incredible story.

Why Skip It?
Not enough action, maybe too sappy or you're not a Hilary Swank fan.

 Red
 What's It About?
A group of "old" ex-C.I.A. agents reassemble.

Why See It?
-If you're a fan of Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovitch or Helen Mirren.
-Or you're a fan of the comic book series Red.
-To see Helen Mirren being badass shooting guns.

Why Skip It?
The cast isn't hip enough for you.

Jackass 3D
 What's It About?
The third helping of Steve-O and Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the Jackass cast doing stupid, dangerous stunts on camera.

Why See It?
If you're a Jackass... fan of course.

Why Skip It?
You're not a Jackass... fan of course.
